The LG G5's screen is 'always on'

LG just announced a new feature according to a GIF posted to Facebook that the LG G5 will have an "always-on" screen. "Never go asleep while others do," LG's message implores.

It’s not clear whether this screen would be literally Always ON. However, if LG feels it must mention it, then perhaps it would be different than other phone makers’ implementations of a screen that displays notifications while on stand-by, check out the GIF image below.



The G5 will be announced on Sunday February 21st at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. We'll be there, so stay tuned.
