Dell Launches The World First 17-inch 2-in-1 Laptop

Dell is announcing a range of new Inspiron 2-in-1s, with prices starting at just $249. The Inspiron 17 7000 2-in-1 is the world's first 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop, and it even includes a special infrared camera to support the Windows Hello feature of Windows 10 (logging in with just your face). A 17-inch display might be a little too much for a convertible, but Dell is also launching 13-inch and 15-inch versions of the Inspiron 7000. All three models will include Intel's 6th generation Core processors, and they're launching in June priced from $749 onwards.
Dell's budget option for a 2-in-1 laptop is the new Inspiron 11 3000. Like the name implies, it's an 11-inch model with a 1366 x 768 display. It's a little underpowered thanks to its Intel Core M3 processor, but at just $249 it's ideal for students or someone looking for a basic combination of tablet and laptop. Dell says the Inspiron 11 3000 will be available in China and the US on June 2nd.

If you're looking for smaller 2-in-1 with Windows Hello support then Dell also has 13-and 15-inch versions of the new Inspiron 5000. The infrared camera for logging into Windows 10 is just an option, as is a configuration for up to 16GB of RAM. Dell is launching the new Inspiron 5000 on June 2nd in the US and China, priced from $529.
