FLASHING ZTE SDCARD UPDATE / UPGRADE PACKAGE
Download the ZTE Stock ROM / SDcard update or upgrade package for your device model. Copy the update.zip package from your computer to the phone’s root directory (/sdcard/).
On your computer, navigate to Computer > Device Model > Phone. Then copy the update.zip package into this location. – For MTP mode
– Copy to Phone storage or Internal SDcard root, if connected via Mass storage.
Verify that the file has been successfully copied to your device storage by navigating to your device root directory via a file manager. Now go to Settings > About Phone > System updates > Storage card updates. Tap Ok to proceed. If you have not previously made a backup and still wish to do so, click Backup & Update, or select Update Now to begin the firmware update / upgrade process. The phone will reboot and start the upgrade. Please be patient and do not interrupt, the whole upgrade process may take about 5 minutes.
The phone will restart again when the updating finishes. This reboot may take about 10 minutes.
Congratulations! You have successfully updated your ZTE Smartphone firmware. To check this, Go to Settings > About.
