When it comes to smartwatches, apps or total hearing on the wrist, or they do not. Uber and shake apps that make a ton of hearing since they can provide useful information in view, like smartwatches are designed to do. Now, almost two years after it was first promised, the last Uber delivered an official app for Android Wear 2.0. Uber for Android Wear only what you think by allowing users to search traffic directly from the wrist, looked driver development, and see details on the driver entry. They will not have access to any option available in the full Android app, but there are not many limits.
The app is 100% standalone, meaning you do not even need a companion app installed on your smartphone. Of course, if you watch it with an LTE connection you'll need to bring that phone, but watches as LG Watch Sport will be run completely sans-smartphone.
Unfortunately, this also means Uber for Android Wear is determined to watches running version 2.0 and up. For now, it's just the LG Watch Sport Watch Style, but other smartwatches including Huawei Watch, Moto 360 v2, and several others will be updated in the coming weeks. If you are using an older Android Wear device as the first generation of Moto 360 or LG G Watch, grief, you're out of luck on this one. Uber is available for download from the Google Play Store on Android Wear device as a free download.
